"All Inclusive" is a term that is banded around a lot, so it's natural to assume that it is standard practice within the care sector. In fact, surprisingly, this term appears to have lots of different meanings. For some it means meals are included but drinks aren't. For others it means that physio is an extra payment but chiropody is OK. It can be confusing to say the least.
At Shinfield View we believe that the only way to remove the stress of having to budget every week or month, is to make our homes genuinely All Inclusive. So you know that when you enter Shinfield View Care Home, you won't have to worry about budgeting anymore.
We have noticed that some care home companies ask for a non-refundable joining fee or membership fee upon application to the home. We have also noticed that these can be as high as £5,000.00 simply for joining. Needless to say we do not believe that this is either necessary or fair and you can rest assured that our home does not and will not charge you to join our community.
When you join our community at Shinfield View you can be assured that the one weekly fee contains everything you will ever need to carry on enjoying life the way you always have. We believe that by organising our home this way, it removes the ongoing worry and stress of having to budget.

At Shinfield View Care Home we don't employ agency staff as a matter of course. We pay all of our staff above the living wage and we employ more of them than other care homes. We do this because it benefits our residents and their families. People in Shinfield View are never in a rush or torn between two different jobs; there are more than enough people on hand to help and ensure that this is a real home.
